It’s not every day one gets to step behind the doors of a residential penthouse apartment on London’s illustrious Park Lane. But this is exactly what we offered to our members for a very special dining experience on 30th January at the Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living.
The collection of 4 Penthouse Suites at Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living are often rented out by high profile families and are extremely sought after by foreign visitors during the summer months. The décor, furnishings and balcony views are exquisite and offer the ultimate luxury accommodation in London.
The event took place in the Mayfair Penthouse, the third largest of the collection. The Grosvenor House Apartments have 130 residences including the 4 Penthouse Suites.
With four bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge, dining room, 2 balconies, 3 bathrooms and a reception hall, the Mayfair Penthouse was more than large enough for our party of 14. We began with a champagne drinks reception in the lounge and our Nth Degree members took themselves for a little snoop around the whole penthouse apartment. Our wonderful waiting staff used the kitchen as a base to serve the drinks.
Dinner began with a run through of the menu from the extremely charming resident Head Chef Shailesh Deshmukh. The menu included a trio of seafood for starters, seabass with gnocchi, cherry tomatoes and greens and a melt-in-the-mouth chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. The food, service and ambience was absolutely superb and everyone around the table was truly blown away by the diversity of the whole experience.
